Air-X & noise levels [RE-wrenches]

Stop Switch? Is OK to use a stop on the 403? They factory told me that the
503 is not supposed to have a stop switch and suspect that is the cause of a
smoked controller in a 503 that I have been called to service. (not
originally installed by me). They said that they manual does not say
install a stop switch but I can't find where it warns that one will damage
your machine if you do.
