PS2512 woes [RE-wrenches]

Kirk,

We have four of the PS2524's installed, two as a 240 V pair. Absolutely no
problems. I always buy them with the remote control, and add gen start
modules and alarm modules if needed. But they still come out over $1000 less
than an SW, and seem to be beefier on surge loads. They also charge much
nicer than the SW's. (They do not hunt continuously. They settle in and
charge at a very slowly decreasing rate.)

So I've got to say I'm pleased with the 24V flavor. I do think I'd use the
Prosine 2000 for a 12V unit though.

I would have loved to stay away from the 12 volt PS, except it's a ten-year
old 12 volt system and a waveform upgrade from the old and lightning-fried
U2512SB. I'm so bummed with the PS2512 debacle that today I told a customer
awaiting a PS2524 that I won't sell it to them.........
