Bob,
It certainly would be nice to only install UL listed components, 
especially ones that have current passing through the center of them.  I 
will most likely use the MC clamps to keep the kid in the future who is 
pulling a ball or other object out from under an array from also pulling 
apart a connection.  I had been using flex conduit between modules, but 
that is not UL compliant.  Short of putting EMT with a path to ground on 
each section between modules, I dont know of a better way?
I had been thinking about purchasing the tools to make my own MC's and 
the instructions state that the wire must be tinned.  I have samples 
from other sources, which I pulled appart, and the wire is not tinned.  
This is probably not UL compliant?
