Quandry(was Help needed in Tuolumne County) [RE-wrenches]

I deal with this all the time.  My problem is I don't know how to say
NO.  Small off-grid systems that are totally scabbed together and in
desperate need of work and upgrades.  They have no money.  I work for
pennies and my name ends up on the sub-standard system that will never
be a shinning example of solar energy.  Just being involved in the
system and giving them the bad news puts your name on it and makes you
out to be the bad guy.  I still do it -- go figure.
