I have used both within 100 metres of the sea. The AWP has been very
prone to rust but the Proven is galvanised throughout. The latest
AWP36 with stainless steel tail should be much better than the early
models.
I do not recommend using the high voltage AWP in a marine
environment. Stator insulation can be an issue, or has been in the
past.
