generator question [RE-wrenches]

Yes the Kohler 6.5RMY was taken out of production because the engine could
not meet the new emission requirements. Kohler decided to no longer make
the smaller unit, but we found a dealer that still had several in stock so
we have purchased one recently.

As to the question of the circuit breaker, the dealer just removes the
double pole breaker and installs a single pole 70 amp breaker on the 8.5 kW
unit. The re-wiring only takes a few minutes. Kohler may offer this as a
part number, but my dealer does it all with off the shelf electrical parts.
If you are using a single Trace SW40, this is all the generator you will
need as it has a 60 amp @120 volt input and transfer limit.
