I have many in the field used as primary and as post heat for solar,and
even used for radiant floor heating and in ten years of use have only
had one service call and that was to clean the pilot tube of "belly
lint" or something introduced with the propane.
Personally I like them and the two I have used never even burp in 6
years of use.
