Wrenches: PGE doesnt charge for a bi-directional meter when you
install a grid -tie system , its only when you ask for TOU that they
nick the extra $277. The existing meter is not certified for
backfeeding and is not accurate at reading in the reverse direction,
solar guerillas take note, it reads the sellback as less than actual.
Many of my customers would love to have that slick digital TOU meter,
but unless a customer is definetly never around during weekdays, TOU
isnt cost effective. Carl Reuter
