Yeah that's it... except why not drop the MPPT and just match the voltage of
the heating element load up to the array MPP voltage. Yeah.. then you could
have just under $15k of PV panels to replace a $500 SDHW panel.
This thread is nuts. Are we really talking about using PV to heat water?
