Pv for s/h/w..... [RE-wrenches]

Hi guys,

Thanks for the input but it appears that no-one has given this any serious
thought, to date.

1) What could be easier - a 1 to 2 Kw array connected to a dc heating element
via a MPPT controller. No inverter necessary, no water pipes on the outside of
the house, no battery bank, etc.

2) It also appears that no-one reads R.E.W. (Renewable Energy World) where they
recently had information on this on the tail-end of an article on s/h/w systems
- p119 to be specific. Although I have heard of this concept before, it is the
first time I have seen it in print. They also quote the original study done on
it, for the academics in our midst.

3) Although this concept cuts across the grain of the s/h/w guys; to quote Joel,
"..........nothing gets better without change"

                            thanks for that, John V
