Don't use PV power to heat hot water or Einstein will roll over in his
grave. It violates the basic laws of thermodynamics and entropy.  Also make
direct use of the sun energy.  Solar Thermal is 75% efficient - solar
electric systems used on Earth are 15% efficient - then you have to change
electricity into heat
You can freeze a banana and use it to drive nails, but it is better to use a
hammer.
