Kurt,

The DayStar is great.  It allows me to show a customer (and myself) just how
many of those watts are actually getting through.  I would recommend a
GREENLEE THH-500 also.  This is a "low cost" (under $150.00) digital,
laser-guided thermometer.  When you take readings in Summer with the
DayStar, it is good to know the temperature of the face of your panels.
This allows you to do the math and incorporate temperature as a variable of
performance.  1,000 watts per square meter shows up as something
considerably less when translated through panels that are cooking at 150
degrees F.
