Altair Energy in Western Colorado [RE-wrenches]

Altair came through a courting, here on the western slope of Colorado
looking for installers to represent for them. They were offering a wooping
5% sales commission and they would supervise and mostly do the
installations. They wanted exclusivity. I could not figure out how it would
work for my business as it would destroy all of my years put in and hand
them the profits [???] and under cut all I have worked towards.
Last time I saw their face they were advertising in a local paper, with the
local power company, San Miguel Power Association as their "Partner" in the
area for alternative power systems. I am not aware of any installations
preformed by this partnership.
To my knowledge, Altair was started as a grant funded institution to promote
PV in Colorado and ?? but went private and started competing with the
private sector when they saw the interest that they were generating. They
are not respected nor welcome for their business practices by the solar
community on the western slope of Colorado.
