Seeking the best in price and performance on a 1kw grid-tie inverter [RE-wrenche

Hi Wrenches,

Things change so fast now, I feel out of the loop.  I'm sold on Sunny Boy,
but their 1,100 watt version is a ways out.  It makes no fiscal sense using
a 2.5 kw inverter, but Advanced Energy's 1 kw grid-tie costs almost the same
as a Sunny Boy.  Is there anything out there that is as good as SMA's stuff,
and proportionately priced in the 1 kw to 1.5 kw range?
