Scam? Caution [RE-wrenches]

Wrenches,
A couple of times recently we have had telephone inquiries for Xantrex/Trace
inverter prices. The client asks for a price, says he is "ready to buy" and
wants the items shipped overnight to an address. They want to pay by credit
card, which we won't do over the phone (Note: without a signed bank card
sales slip, anyone can dispute a charge and win). The last time was a call
from "James" with a 908-906-99XX phone number (from caller ID), wanting an
inverter or power panel shipped to New Jersey.

I suspect that it's a scam. This is a heads-up to watch for. Has anyone else
had the same type of call?
