AquaStar 125 BS - distributor reply [RE-wrenches]

Wrenches,
    I need your experience on how well an AquaStar 125 BS tankless water 
heater will perform with a Thermomax DHW system.   Also,  what troubles are

experienced when using the AquaStar with really hard water.

Dave et al,

While I have witnessed the entire heat exchanger of an old style (non
removable) Sepco solar tank to be a block of calcium in some portions of my
service area, I have not seen tankless heaters in the same area experience
anything like the calcium donut just described. I contacted one of the old
timers at Controlled Energy Corporation, US distributors for the the Bosch
Aquastar, and his reply follows.
