Wrenches,

With even more series fuses being needed than previously thought, it
becomes yet more attractive to put fuses in module junction boxes. With
inline fuses installed in the j boxes, only enough flex conduits need to be
run to carry the current to a combiner, junction or breaker box.

A j box with a label saying "fuse inside" would make finding blown fuses
relatively easy. This might be more appropriate for a system mounted
within easy reach of the ground. If 15 a amp series fuse is used with
each string of SP 75 modules, it should never blow, unless a fault
condition is encountered. It might be ok to use this method for roof mount.

Fewer conduit whips make a cleaner looking system with less labor and
materials.
