metering solar irradiance [RE-wrenches]

Greetings Wrenches,

I'm thinking about buying a "Daystar hand-held solar meter" (http://www.zianet.com/daystar/SolarMeter.html).  Any experience with these meters or recomendations for other portable meters in this ($130) price range appreciated.  This would only be used to measure array performance during routine maintanence/inspection, not high tech data gathering.
