NABCEP etc [RE-wrenches]

Lawrence, we just got this info from SEIA. What's up?

SEIA Board of Directors voted to reject the
NABCEP’s training and certification proposal. Today, the industry submitted
its official
response to the proposal. While SEIA strongly supports efforts that
thoroughly train
individuals to install PV and solar thermal systems, the NABCEP’s draft
proposal is far
too rigid and restrictive. The proposal would disqualify existing
practitioners, increase
the price of systems, and could sour the public’s confidence in energy
technology, just
as consumer polls show Americans are ready for renewable energy now.
