SW4024 arcing [RE-wrenches]

I can't explain the lower inverter failure other than check the settings in
menu 11 for allowable input voltage. Also, areyou sure there wasn't any
lightning activity in the area?
The upper inverter display problem could have been due to the high temps
from the inverter cooking under it. I've seen those screens go blank
before when subjected to high ambient temps. ( over 90 degreesF),while the
inverter otherwise performed normally. It takes awhile for them to come back.
Hopefully that's another peice to your puzzle.
Oh yea, check the AC output of both units with a meter besides the onboard
meters. I've seen strange things like SWs dropping into modified square
wave or the RMS output going up to 144 VAC while the onboard meters still
showed 120VAC. It always led to factory service and a long wait and a lot
of visits...

Good Luck,

Ray Walters

Walked out to Power House to find DC breaker for
>Lower Trace tripped. He reset that breaker and immediately noted:

> -a red error light
