Inverter recommendations? [RE-wrenches]

Hi,

I tried a ProSine 2.0 a while back and was very impressed with most aspects.
The idle was under 20 watts, surge was excellent (table saw, water pump
etc.) and it was incredibly quiet. Had a very nice removable remote control
and extensive battery charger programming.

The wiring compartment is not what "Wrenches" are used to. There are four
wires exiting the machine (AC In and AC Out). Connections to load/source
wiring is made with wire nuts and placed back in the compartment and
covered. The charger is quite sensitive to poor quality input power and
would not work with my old Honda generator. It is a very nice charger if
the houseboater has access to shore power. I tried the charger on the
output of my SW and it works well and is very energy efficient.

I'd recommend it with a caveat about needing a good source of AC for battery
charger success. Full specs can be found at www.xantrex.com
