Travis,

The 10kw Excel is a proven wind turbine. I have one at my house in Charlotte,
Vermont (the gray Colonial house on Bergey's website). I have been in the wind
business for over 20 years and am a mechanicial engineer used to design wind
turbines. Installed over 2 years ago and I have the GridTek inverter.

A caution on using wind maps to project your output. I would be very conservative and
project lower output unless you have some local wind data to back up the map
numbers. I have a 9.5 mph site and the system produces the claimed energy output.
Your class 3 may be a low class 2 if the exposure is not good.
