Ditto on that.  The C-40 meter is really the only inexpensive way to log 
solar input at present.  I compile my daily numbers on a spredsheet and it 
makes wonderful graphs to show people that there IS sun in Vermont!  I also 
find that customers quickly get familiar with the ranges of amp hours 
relative to the weather so if there were a problem with the panels or wiring, 
it would show up as an unusual reading.
