Quiet wind generators [RE-wrenches]

Gary,
   The Bergey XL.1 is much quieter than the BWC1500 which IS noisy.  I have a 
1500 and it can make significant noise in certain wind conditions.  However 
it is a very reliable machine.  The XL.1 appears to have the same survival 
designs,  but most of the noise has been eliminated with the advanced blade 
design.  The problem, of course, is availability.
