globalization of electricity [RE-wrenches]

It's not an either/or solar world. Most PV will be on the roof at the point
of use, but an increasing amount of PV is going on building vertical
surfaces. Some PV will be centralized because of population density and
available transmission lines. I can imagine a distant future where people
live in buildings with exterior and interior surfaces producing and
consuming energy and light at different times.
