If your Trace distributor didn't provide you with cut sheets on the 
ST2500, shame on them. If they did and you didn't read it, 
well.....shame on you.
The ST is not the only product to have a 48VDC input. The GC-1000 
does as well. Since there are maybe four or five inverter 
manufacturers total that marked to the US, you can hardly say that 
"everyone else is in the 100 to 400 volt D.C. range." While I agree 
that higher input voltages may be a good idea IF they translate to 
higher efficiencies, putting 400VDC on the roof of a residence in a 
system designed for 25 years is something to think about twice.
