Both neutrals should be earthed (grounded) so they will be common
anyway. If you wish to use grid to charge batteries in the event of
problems, you will have to connect grid neutral to inverter neutral.
The position of the neutral to earth bond in such systems is usually
a puzzling decision. If you connect the grid neutral to inverter
neutrals it will be grounded already (by the supply company) so you
should not make any separate bonding link.
