Advice from his friendly general contractor of many years: tell him you
> are a specialist, and will work as a consultant, with a written contract
> at at least $85/hr. and a $1,000 retainer.
> The Gen'l Contractor suggests he'll spend hours with me discussing before
> deciding anything.
Great Advice! Good Start.
Then document everything that happens, "copy" to all concerned. Work
primarily with the contractor, and the landscape architect as they will
probably have a better feel for the approch at this point, and then copy to
the owner as it progresses.
* Offer to locate on a remote part of the parcel and back feed to the house
at 230VAC, to remove the "ugly".
Keep your intregrity, be more than honest, get him to beg for it, make it
work or do not do it! It will bite you later, this person is dangerous!!
