The one in my story probably allowed 30-40 turns at most, I'd guess.

For a product with wide distribution, I agree. We've seen far to many 
birds installed in really stupid, turbulent situations, and many more 
in moderately turbulent ones, or you just don't know 'til it's up 
there or the trees get higher.
