If you wire a small indicator bulb on the AC hot out, it will bleed 
off any stray voltage.

I have had problems with 'noise' like that on AC1 hot in.  Causing 
the inverter to discard the generator in favour of what it thinks is 
an incoming mains supply, which will never arrive.
