Jeff,

Yes, I have better info. BP specs, like other mfgrs, state a 
tolerance of +/- 10% as part of the specifications. Thus a module can 
be 10% low and still be within specifications.

Many of the BP-590 modules had actual 90 watt output, but most were 
down at the bottom of the tolerance range. Therefore they re-rated 
the product to 85 watts and changed the model number to BP-585. That 
was nearly 2 years ago.
