revised Service Call or ? [RE-wrenches]

Victory! The amount of water leaving my house now equals the amount coming
into house! Dodged that bullet. I was starting to have visions of digging
out the lateral field. Off to the manicurist now.

I very much agree with Jeff Yago's point about the liability issue. In the
cases I have experienced, the reason they are calling me is they have given
up on the prior contractor fixing the problems/finishing the job etc. or
maybe even pursuing legal action against them. This is very bad situation
for us to become involved and I usually avoid even talking to people with
systems I didn't put in. I once had a guy threaten to "go after me" for a
SDHW leak in his wall that he unknowingly caused by putting up some shelves.
I pointed out to him he was calling the wrong guy as I didn't install the
plumbing from the roof to the storage tank. I only changed out a pump and
controller one time. But I was the last guy to work on it so in his mind I
owned any of the problems that happened after I touched it.

As Michael was suggesting we need to increase the public's awareness that
they just might have a professional RE installer in your area.

Travis
