I haven't been in that market for 18 years, but you may sell yourself
short if you think they need rewinding. That's not a common
requirement in the rebuild. The one rated at 38V is a nominal 32V
unit, and will work wonderfully at 24V as well, at rated current and
thus a bit less power, but also at a lower cut-in speed.
I rebuilt 13 of them 20+ years ago, half of which are still going,
so I can offer some advice if you call me on the phone.
