Cheaper and faster is Tray Cable (TC)  or USE-2 CU Wire. The Flexible 
NonMetallic Conduit however, is the best overall, in my opinion. 
Certainly the best and most professional looking. Your designers are 
probably being influenced by a piece written by J.Wiles for Home 
Power a few years back. I took it to task and proved him wrong. He 
backed off, but not down. It's the most serious problem with Mr. 
Wiles. Apparently he's never wrong, even when he is. Hard to respect 
anything a guy like that does, ya know?
