Here is some refrigerator data we've collected here at Home Power.

Sun Frost RF-19 consumes 980 Watt-hours per day.
We had an SPM 2000 DC watt-hour meter hooked to our 12 VDC, RF-19 for 
seven years. It was located in the kitchen five feet from our wood 
heater--high ambient temp in the winter. We keep the freezer at zero 
degrees F and the fridge at 26 degrees F (we have had recording 
thermometers in both. This RF-19 continues to function and is ten 
years old.

Maytag MTB1956DE (18.5 cubic feet) consumes 1.4 KWH daily.
This 120 VAC reefer is located at Karen's mom' house downtown. We 
measured its consumption for 1,218.8 hours (about 50 days) using a 
Brand KWH meter. Total consumption was 71.93 KWH during the 50 day 
period. Karen's mom is from New Orleans and she like it hot--interior 
house thermostat is set at 75 degrees F. This unit has a running 
wattage of 136 watts according to the Brand. This model has separate 
thermostats for the fridge and the freezer. MSRP is around $800.
