Glad you weren't offended. As you know, I respect you and yours greatly and think you are doing great stuff.

But I still think the idea has merit, for those that would rather pursue a coop arrangement than working with a distributor. Distributors spend a lot of time and money on dealer support, and of course the dealer needs to add that to prices and still make a profit. A buying co-op may be just the thing for those that don't want or need support from a middle company.
