Hi Folks,
We sold a GC-1000 to the architect for our Solar Living Center, it's been
running absolutely problem-free for better than two years now. I think it was
about serial #3. He loves it. Several more GC-1000's went in with similar results.
The only real problem is that it's only 1000 watts, and is a bit pricey for the
power. Customers now are going for the Trace ST units instead of the AEI unit.
It's brand recognition and price. (And I'm getting worried about them performing
properly!) Sam V showed me the prototype ST in Sacramento almost two years ago.
You'd think they'd have found the bugs and fixed them in that amount of time. I'm
really interested in hearing more experiences, good or bad, with ST units.
Best Regards,
Doug Pratt
