NY lead [RE-wrenches]

HI.I'm concidering installing an electric system . can you run a wind
system
with a solar system .would you still need the same size solar setup or
could
you go smaller. I have a fairly large home with all the
conveniences.most of
my appliances are new and so i dont really want to replace them right
away.I
live in upstate ny Ithaca area.what would a wind system run me to run my
home
 . would i still need to have the local eletric hooked up ? IF i can run
both
systems together what would i be looking at for cost ? thanks
