My understanding is that this dropping of UL certification only
applies to UL listed SW inverters. All those with the older ETL
listing are OK and legal.
That being said, I have to agree that this whole fiasco is ridiculous
and far worse- it was avoidable. While this is going to cost Xantrex
some money, it will cost their "partners" far more than money. It
will cost us credibility that can not be recovered-ever.
