(From a post I made to the Markets list a few weeks back) 

Hello all,
I have not had a chance to respond much to either of the lists....trying 
to figure out which RE organization is strong enough and willing enough 
to have viable, meaningful dialogue with Congress and the Administration 
to convince them that RE technology is very much worth the investment 
(no name calling!). Let's see....do I send my dues to SEIA?, TREIA? 
TXSES? WEA? EPSEA? MREA? ARISEA? IPP? IREA? IEC? ME3? REMB? HRES? RMI? 
IREC? NMSEA? UPVG? NCSEA? FlaSEIA? SELF? REDI? EREN? ISL?.............I 
could go on (and on....). Who is the "strongest" voice? Any chance that 
if there was one unified organization it would be that voice? An 
organization that would promote the solar industry to mainstream 
America? One that would promote and provide training for installation 
and self certification for installers?  One that would select who they 
wanted as their voice in DC? A single organization made up of regional 
associates that would have a single exposition once a year? (yeah, okay, 
call it a convention...whatever.) Am I off track?
