I've heard rumors that SW units with really small battery packs have
trouble maintaining a stable float voltage, particularly at night, and
eat a lot of charging wattage. But I haven't had hands-on experience
with really small battpacks. There's no question SW units are happier
working with larger batteries.

Hey Doug,

I'm interested in hearing what the list thinks here as well. I always
thought it was the other way around. The smaller the battery the better
the efficiency. This to a point, at which the battery becomes too small
to stablize and filter the input voltage. What happened to the
non-battery SW inverters with the Caps rather than battery? Are they
still around, or is trace trying to replace them with the S.T.?
