Trace ST problems [RE-wrenches]

Wrenches: Trace acts like they are open to our suggestions and yet
the attitude I received on the phone ,in the face of a genuine
problem that we just happen to be fortunate enough to alert each
other about, completely smacked of disregard for our feedback. This
tech insinuated that installer error could have played a part in the
failures and did go to lengths trying to convince me that the whole
thing was wild rumors concocted by mudslingers and people jealous of
Trace and then when he found out I was one of the wrenches, let out a
few more minor grumbles about us and proceeded to ask me if their was
anything else I needed besides calling to bitch about their products.
I stayed as diplomatic as possible since I did have some tech
questions, but the sentiment towards our feedback seemed anything but
welcome.I remember the problems they had with the wimpy contacts in
the old C30s never surviving more than 23 amps at 24 volts, but all
the techs would lie and say they hadnt had that problem or some other
convenient smokescreen, new product but same old caca.We all want
their stuff to work and we're happy to sell it if it does, and if it
doesn't, we're not bashing it,we just want accountability.Carl Reuter
