Hi Tom,
Yes it is. Its why I don't use them except in special cases. But electronics
improve and I can't see that being a problem for too long. The flexaiblity of
these units ( read modularity as in Exeltech) is I think just what is needed
for this industry. Want a battery charger, add a charger module, want more
charging add another. If you have a problem, send back the pull out hot
swapable 1k unit ( as is exeltech right now). If they get the standby loss
issue dealt with it could be a great product.
