	Hi Bob;

	With reasoning like that, I think we should get David Freeman on this list.

>LA is one of the few utilities in CA not involved in the current 
>electric power crisis.

	This is due in part to the existence of several natural gas-fired
generating plants operated by SCE (Southern California Edison) and the
purchase of power form a coal slurry-fired plant located in Laughlin, NV,
which is responsible for a substantial portion of the air pollution
suffered in the Grand Canyon. I'd say that LA is in denial about it's role
in the CA energy crisis.
