Hello All,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you all. As I mentioned in my last
post I was on vacation for a while but upon my return I took some more time
off work as I was ill.
I am currently working through the 275+ emails posted since I left to cull
the questions and write responses...I think it's going to take me a bit to
clear the backlog!
My thoughts, just as yours, have been directed elsewhere in the past few
days. As a Canadian I am watching the events in the US unfold with sadness
and horror. My thoughts go out to you all, especially those of you who may
have loved ones in the areas struck by tragedy. This is a terrible time and
I only hope there is a resolution possible that involves no more loss of
inocent life. I don't think words are adequate to express how I feel...

E - Meters
I have alerted the product manager and our quality department. Please email
me off list with serial numbers and specific problems if others of you are
experiencing problems (talk to Tech Support/Warranty for RMAs). I have
forwarded all the information I have to the product manager and the quality
department. I've had a response from the quality department and they are
looking into the situation.
DC 250s
The posts on the list are the first I've heard of issues with DC 250s. I
have alerted the quality department so they can look into it.
C-40s
Knockouts should be fixed. Email off list if you've got recent issues.
Quality - All Products
I have developed a process for recording and alerting the appropriate
product managers and the quality department to ensure issues I hear about
are addressed quickly. As a central contact point for dealers it is
important for me to receive reports of field issues. Deal with Customer
Service/Tech Support/Warranty department for service but let me know if
you've got recurring problems. Include details (i.e. serial numbers) where
possible.
Product Improvement Suggestions
I have also developed a product improvement list for all of our renewable
energy products. I have a file designated for each product to record and
distribute product improvement suggestions from the field. You took it on
yourselves with the SW wish list but I think it will be easier for you all
if I take on the task of compiling suggestions and presenting them to the
appropriate product managers for review. Your requests have been heard and
you will see changes. That said, I will not put a date on any releases nor
will I discuss planned improvements for products on this list. I'm sure you
understand this is a public forum and discussing planned changes to products
is not appropriate.
More responses soon.
Best,
Pagan
