Greetings all,

I'm working on an electric boat (converted sail boat) that requires a
shunt for the metering.  

I would guess that the shunt will deteriate by being exposed to moist
(wet) environments?  Yes/no?

It is a 100 amp shunt that may see half that much current.  I would
imagine encapsulation would result in heat build up.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
