Viking Gas Range. [RE-wrenches]

Wrenches, 
    Does anyone have experience with a Viking gas range with electronic 
ignition of oven used with an inverter.  I have a friend in the appliance 
business trying to determine which appliances will work on inverters and 
which will not.   Also he told me the new Energy Star Ratings for 
refrigerators are coming out so you might want to check the listings.
