Diesel generator and AutoStart [RE-wrenches]

Does anyone have experience using an SW inverter to Autostart a Northern
Lights NL643 diesel generator?  I want the inverter and/or manual panel
to control the generator but cannot get both to work at the same time.
These use a start/stop button and a bypass button to start the
generator.  The bypass also operates the glowplugs.  Schematics
available on request.
