New York net metering for wind [RE-wrenches]

Anybody heard anything about this?

>From what I heard, each individual inverter HAS to be tested by the utility
ONSITE to test waveform.

I know very little (an admission, mark it down) and am just searching for
more information,
I am afraid that if this is true this will end net metering in New
York....., The utility's must have laughed themselves to sleep the night
that this passed.
