Hi list members,
A few months ago I posted a note about Wattsun trackers and one
installed system in particular (12 volt) that has had numerous failures.
I am happy to report that shortly after that posting, I got a call from
Ron at Array Technologies. He supplied a new drive motor and a 12 to 24
volt DC to DC converter. This was approximately 2 months ago and after
this "burn in" period, the unit it still operating flawlessly. Hopefully
by posting this I will not "jinx" the system.
Ron has tried really hard to get this system to work, and I think
getting the operating system's voltage in the 24 volt range has made all
the difference. I would publicly like to thank Ron at Array Technologies
for his persistence to "make it right".
